Congratulations to Craig Ingram and Mary Kate McNally, spring, 2012 graduates.  Mary Kate is looking for a band position in Colorado.  Craig will be studying with Iskander Akhmadullin at the University of Missouri-Columbia and performing with the U of Missouri trumpet ensemble at the ITG conference this spring.  Although he is pursuing a masters in performance, Craig's assistantship will be teaching music theory.

Dr. Buckner and friends!

Starting Monday(!!!), I will be the new K-12 music teacher at Deer Trail School District in Deer Trail, Colorado! I couldn't be more excited about my new colleagues and friends, and I can't wait to meet my kiddos in a couple days. I am so glad I got the education I did. Even though it's impossible to be completely prepared for everything that a new teaching job entails, I feel equipped to handle anything that comes my way.
